How the Cookie and Session Flag Work
Two small technical mechanisms support that counting, and nothing more is stored in your browser.
- A single first-party cookie is set only when you arrive from a search engine. It holds nothing but the name of that search engine, lasts up to one hour, and is used only so that a later click on an outbound link can be matched to the search engine you came from.
- A session view flag is kept in your browser for the current session only, so that a single page view is not counted more than once.
- No other browser storage is set, and no persistent identifier is created.
Why Outbound Links and Static Hosting Limit What Is Shared
The pages themselves are self-contained static files, served through a content delivery network, using locally embedded fonts. Nothing needed to display a page is pulled from an outside host while that page is showing.
- The content delivery network processes the technical details of every request in its role as hosting provider.
- Outbound links to partner sites first pass through a path on this domain, which redirects to the destination. This redirect does not hand any stored visitor data to the partner.
- Once you land on a partner site, that site receives your request directly from your browser and keeps its own separate record of it. This page has no control over what a partner site does with that request.
- There are no forms on this site, no third-party analytics, no external subresources, and no contact channels here.
Because there is no login, no registration, and no account system, this site does not collect names, e-mail addresses, account identifiers or payment details, and it does not retain personal data tied to an individual visitor. It does not share visit data with advertising networks, data brokers or outside analytics services, and it uses no third-party or advertising cookies. The absence of forms and contact channels means there is no route on this page for you to submit personal details in the first place, which is also why nothing here asks for your consent or your account information.
